Our pleated buff variations are countless and their versatility is the reason they are one of the most widely used JacksonLea buff products. We offer two types of pleated buff constructions:
SEW PLEAT buffs have a soft buff face with excellent flexibility. These buffs are ideal for mush buffing highly complex and contoured parts.
HOT PLEAT buffs have a hard/firm face with some flexibility. These buffs are effective tools for contact buffing and provide excellent cut, often replacing sisal buffs.
Non-fray Contact Wheels
Commonly used with a back stand, idler pulley and polishing bely. Polishing is typically used to remove stock, or imperfections in metal to refine the metal for further smoothing operations such as buffing.
Dynaflex Flap Wheels
Offered in a variety of diameters ranging from 12” to 20” and with width range of 1” to 12”, the Dynaflex flap wheel is ideal for most any size or shape work piece. The Dynaflex is available in the following materials: coated abrasives, non-woven fabric, or a combination of coated abrasives and non-woven fabric. The flap material is offered in different material composition, backings, and grit sizes.
Classic Airway Buff
The original Bias Cloth Airway Buffs have been the industry standard for over 70 years. Theses buffs are effective finishing tools for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, marble, plastics, and other materials. Cloth Airways are used in all facets of the finishing operations. Standard Cloth Airway buffs are available in White Untreated (Soft) Cloth for coloring, White Mill Treated (Medium) Cloth for cut and color, and Yellow and Green Mill Treated (Hard) Cloth for cut.
All Bias Cloth Airway Buffs can be manufactured with either mill treated or our dip treated with one of our specialty treatments to alter the buffs’ flexibility and cutting capabilities.
Wave Ring Buffs
The Jacksonlea Wave Ring buff are multifaceted tools that can be used in a wide range of applications. From the heaviest of your cut buffing needs all the way to coloring, the Wave Ring buff is an excellent option for many applications. With material options of sisal, cloth and sisal and cloth, the Wave Ring Buff can be the solution to many difficult applications.
